Artist Boat offers exciting field trip opportunities to student groups. Along with paddling and safety instruction, students can participate in hands-on outdoor environmental education activities. While exploring Galveston Bay's tranquil habitats, students make their own watercolor painting to reflect creatively the immense beauty, wonder and diversity of life contained in coastal margins.
Adventure activities include paddling lessons, birding, watercolor painting, studying and observing local ecology, and expanded science activities for walking and vessel based programs.
