Volunteer Opportunities at the Coastal Heritage Preserve

Artist Boat is hosting weekly volunteer workdays at the Coastal Heritage Preserve! Throughout the next few months, we'll be removing invasive and harmful species from the Preserve, such as the red imported fire ant, Macartney rose, and salt cedar, as well as restringing fence line by replacing barbwire with wildlife-safe high-tensile wire fencing. We'll also be planting seeds, bumping-up seedlings, and planting trees and grasses in the Preserve. If you're interested in volunteering for one of these workdays, please contact Nate Johnson at njohnson@artistboat.org. See below for a full list of our volunteer opportunities, as well as some photos from our previous volunteer workdays.
