Due to the nature of the camps, sessions are designed for children ages 5 to 10. Registration is required and spaces are limited to 12 students to ensure small camp size and individual attention.

Fall is one of the best times to see migratory birds on Galveston Island. Join us for a day of camp activities focusing on Birds, Migration, and Pollinators!

Keep our Seas Plastic Free
During this time of giving back, and giving thanks – join Artist Boat in beautifying a bucket for Galveston beaches. While you’re at it, learn about marine debris art and how you can find materials to make art anywhere!

Paint Like Van Gogh, With a Sweet Twist!
Van Gogh was famous for his self-portraits—now it’s your turn! Transform yourself into a Van Gogh–style gingerbread cookie ornament and learn expressive painting techniques. A deliciously fun way to mix art and holiday cheer… using frosting as your paint and a cookie as your canvas.

Under the Microscope
Come learn about the unique microscopic world just beneath our noses! Campers will get hands-on experience using microscopes and explore the visible and invisible patterns found in our natural world.

Whale of a Time
Big imagination meets big Art! Over two days, kids will learn fun whale facts while creating a show stopping large-scale paper mâché whale!

Do you love Gaming? Get your gaming group together and join us for a 2 day- board-game creation workshop that uses marine debris to create a playable work of art—all while learning about saving our planet!

Camp Requirements
Be prepared to spend all day outside!
We will be spending all 7 hours of camp in a non-climate controlled barn and outside. Please have your camper dressed appropriately for the weather.
What to bring:
- Show up wearing shoes for walking outside. NO Flip flops, Crocs, or Rain-boots!
- Bring at least 64 oz. of drinking water, lunch, and snacks, NO sodas
- Signed waiver
Due to the nature of Artist Boat’s new camp curriculum,
the current Eco-Art Camps are open to students that have completed Kindergarten and through the 5th Grade.
Each camp session is limited to 12 campers.
Artist Boat’s number one priority is the safety of all guests.
Artist Boat is committed to following the recommendations from recognized health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
